Strengthening bilateral relations in the tourism sector
Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov met with Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States in Uzbekistan Daniel Rosenblum.
Also in the negotiations participated Mikaela Meredith, Director of USAID in Uzbekistan, Alexis Sullivan, Adviser on Public Affairs of the United States, Gulchehra Israilova, Chairman of the APTA, and Aliya Ospanova, adviser to the rector.
The sides exchanged views on the positive results achieved by Uzbekistan in the tourism industry. They discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the development of the quality of services in the tourism sector, the training of qualified personnel in the field of tourism, art and cultural heritage.
