An info tour was held for representatives of the travel industry from Europe and Central Asia

On May 18 - 25 this year, an information tour was held to Samarkand and Bukhara for representatives of the travel industry from Europe and Central Asia - participants in the International Tourism Exhibition in the B2B format "Tashkent Travel Mart 2022".

The info tour is organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan with the support of the European Union Programs Switch Asia and CAI, the USAID Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Development Project, ACTED.

The info tour program included a tour of Tashkent, a visit to the ancient cities of Samarkand and Bukhara, a trip to the Kyzylkum desert, a visit to Aydarkul Lake, and a trip to the Nuratau mountains.

At all stages of this tour, participants were accompanied by experienced guides.

On the first day of the info tour, a tour of the capital was organized for the participants with a visit to the Khast-Imam complex, Mustakillik Square, Amir Temur Square, Sayilgokh Street (Broadway), the Courage Monument, the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi and the Tashkent Underground.

Further, as part of a trip to Bukhara, the participants of the info tour got acquainted with the sights of the city, including the Ark Citadel, Magoki-Attari Mosque, Kukeldash Madrasah, Lyabi Hauz with Nadir Divan Begi Madrasah, Kalon Complex, Trading Domes of Bukhara, Samanid Mausoleum, Chor Minor Madrasah, Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa is a country residence of the last Emir of Bukhara, etc.

Then, as part of the tour program, the participants made a move to the Kyzylkum desert, where accommodation in a yurt camp and a camel ride were organized for them.

The participants of the info tour also visited the Aydarkul lake and made a trip to the Nuratau mountains.

The participants spent the final days of the info tour in Samarkand. Here, representatives of the tourism industry visited the new airport of Samarkand, the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road" and the "Silk Road Samarkand" complex. During the tour of the ancient city, the participants got acquainted with such sights as: Gur-Emir, Registan Square, Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Ulugbek Observatory and Museum, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis and Siab Bazaar.
