APTА's specialists shared their experience with colleagues from Tajikistan
On May 26-27, during a working trip to Tajikistan within the framework of the EU Project - CAI Program “Silk Road CBT Initiative: Connecting Central Asian Community-Based Tourism and European Markets ", Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) conducted mentoring for colleagues from Tajikistan.
This mentoring process was organized for representatives of the Tajik Community Based Tourism Association (TCBTA) in order to familiarize themselves with the activities of the APTA and exchange experience.
The mentor was the Chairman of the APTA - Gulchehra Israilova.
As a part of the 2-day mentoring program, was made a presentation on the activities of the APTА. During the presentation, the participants got acquainted with the processes of realizing the potential of the organization, projects, working with partners and donors, cooperation with representatives of the tourism industry.
TCBTA specialists were provided with information on the development of CBT tourism and family guest houses in Uzbekistan, in particular, the legislative basis for organizing the activities of family guest houses, the formation and promotion of CBT products, and also noted the successful experience of APTA in organizing and conducting trainings for representatives of CBT sectors within the European Union projects.
