The tourism potential of the Tashkent region will be developed on the basis of the "Golden Ring" concept

To increase the flow of tourists to the Tashkent region, create favorable conditions for them and increase the income of the local population in Bostanlyk, Akhangaran, Parkent, Buka, Chinaz, Zangiata districts and the city of Angren, the necessary infrastructure will be created based on the Golden Ring concept. This is stated in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 31, 2019 "On the accelerated development of tourism in the Tashkent region for 2019-2021."
According to the document, each district of the Tashkent region will develop its own tourism product, thereby developing different directions of tourism.
For example, in Bostanlyk region there is a free tourist zone "Charvak", Ugam-Chatkal National Park, and a reservoir "Charvak". In these places there are all opportunities for the development of tourism. Parkent district is picturesque, there are also sights for pilgrimage, there is a good potential for agritourism, many catering points. Zangiota is a historical place, has a complex for pilgrim tourism - "Zangiota", there are also craft centers and shopping centers. Akhangaran is rich in historical sights and cultural heritage sites. At the same time, there are facilities for industrial tourism. Buka has unique gastronomic tourist sites. Chinaz is located along the main highway connecting Tashkent with other regions and has potential for the development of agritourism and gastronomic tourism. Angren is known for its industrial tourism destination. At the same time, Yangiabad and Lashkarak, located on its territory, are known for their beautiful natural views.
It should be noted that the Golden Ring concept will initially cover such areas as Bostanlik, Parkent, Zangiota, Akhangaran, Buka, Chinaz and Angren, which have the greatest tourism potential, and then will be expanded to cover other regions of the country. Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov reported that the concept of the "Golden Ring" in the Tashkent region was being developed.
The signing of this decree became a logical continuation of work in this direction and a necessary condition for the fulfillment of the tasks set earlier.
