A new standard for guides.
A new state standard O 'Z DSt is being developed _______:2022 " Tourist services. Requirements for guides (guides-interpreters), guides" developed by the Technical Committee for Standardization STQ 4 "Tourism and Sport" at the State Unitary Enterprise "Certification Center for Sports and Tourism Services" and the Institute of Tourism Development of Uzbekistan.
This standard will help legal entities, regardless of their organizational and legal form, to establish requirements for guides (translation guides) and guides in the selection of personnel, conducting qualification exams, developing job descriptions and standards for guides.
For consumers and customers of excursion services, public organizations, authorized state bodies in the field of tourism and conformity assessment bodies (or competencies) will help with monitoring and evaluation.
Currently, work is underway to coordinate the draft standard with interested parties.
