Humo Air will develop a business model and development strategy

The government has instructed to develop a business model for Humo Air, taking into account profitability and a strategy for its development, including the purchase of aircraft. The company will also hand over 43 An-2 aircraft to the AK SAR SUE.
The new airline Humo Air will be created on the basis of the property of the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) "Airline for Special Aviation Works" ("AK SAR"), follows from the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan dated January 20.
In November 2018, according to a presidential decree, Uzbekistan Helicopters was established on the basis of AK SAR as part of the reorganization of the Uzbekiston Havo Yollari National Airline. The balance of the enterprise includes An-2 aircraft and aviation and other property.
"Humo Air" LLC, the opening of which was recently announced by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, will be created through the reorganization of AK SAR. The founder of the transferred property is the State Assets Management Agency.
43 An-2 aircraft, aircraft engines, flight simulators and other property will be transferred to the authorized capital of Humo Air. Some of them are planned to be sold in the future.
The State Asset Management Agency was instructed to develop a business model of the new airline, taking into account its profitability, within two months. If necessary, foreign experts can be involved.
Within three months, it was also instructed to develop a development strategy for Humo Air, which provides for a phased renewal of the company's aircraft and engine fleet through the purchase of new aircraft, including on lease.
For the development of the airline, it is planned to attract investments, including direct foreign investments.
The Spot edition drew attention to the fact that after the appearance of messages about the creation of Humo Air, an application was submitted for registration of the trademark of the same name and the domain name humoair.uz was registered.
