The new rules apply to the issuance of visas from the first Monday of February 2020, as approved by the new Schengen Visa Code, which will apply to all applicants for the issuance of Schengen visas.
Starting February 2, 2020, citizens of Uzbekistan, when applying for a Schengen visa, will pay a fee of 80 euros instead of 60 euros, as it was before. At the same time, you will have to pay 40 euros for a child's visa instead of 35, as it was earlier. Children between the ages of 0 and 6 are still exempt from visa fees.
The new code also extends the available application period from three to six months prior to travel. Multiple entry visas valid for up to five years will be issued to travelers who frequently visit the Schengen area and have a positive visa history.
However, the application deadline is still 15 calendar days before the intended trip to the Schengen area.
