Educational tour for tourism specialists from Uzbekistan started in Kyrgyzstan

On May 30, 2022, a study tour for tourism specialists from Uzbekistan started in Kyrgyzstan.
The tour is organized by the Kyrgyz Association of Community-based Tourism (KACBT) "Silk Road CBT Initiative: Connecting Central Asian Community-Based Tourism and European Markets" within the framework of the EU program "Central Asia Invest V".
The purpose of this tour is to get acquainted with the work of Tourist Information Centers (TIC) operating in the structure of KACBT.
Representatives of the Tourist Service Center under the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, the Main Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Ferghana Region, Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan and the Transport Tourism Association take part in the training tour.
As part of the tour program, participants will visit tourist locations and get acquainted with the work of the TIC of Kyrgyzstan.
In the first days of the study tour, specialists from Uzbekistan visited the office of KACBT, where the presentation of CBT Kyrgyzstan took place, the village of Kochkor in the Naryn region and got acquainted with the activities of the TIC "Kochkor", visited the guest house "Shyrdak", where they were presented with a master class on production of Kyrgyz traditional felt carpets "ala kiiz" and "shirdak".
The participants of the tour made a trip to the village of yurt masters (boz-ui) - Kyzyl-Tuu. Visited Bel-Tam and Jaychi yurt camps. An eagle hunting show was organized for the participants in the Jaichi yurt camp. And also the specialists visited the village of Bokonbaevo and the city of Karakol, where the TIC presentations of these locations took place.
The study tour will last until June 6 this year.
