In the capital of Russia, the Embassy of Uzbekistan, together with the International Society of Wine and Gourmet Cuisine Lovers and the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy, organized a presentation of the gastronomic tourism of our country, the Dunyo news agency reported.

Well-known entrepreneurs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, food and beverage manufacturers, chefs and popular media observers were invited to the event.

Counselor of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia Shokhrukh Gulamov, Chairman of the Moscow branch of the International Society of Wine and Gourmet Cuisine Leonid Gelibterman and others noted that thanks to the reforms carried out in recent years, tourism in Uzbekistan is dynamically developing, turning into a strategic sector of the national economy. The consistent measures implemented in the country ensured its openness to the outside world and the attractiveness of the republic for doing business, which is manifested in the rapid growth of the tourist flow to Uzbekistan and the volume of attracted foreign investments.

It was emphasized that Uzbekistan pays special attention to the full use of its historically established advantages for the development of tourism. The rich and varied Uzbek cuisine is one of the strongest factors that can attract the attention of even the most sophisticated gourmets from anywhere in the world. In this regard, the participants of the meeting were informed about the history and varieties of Uzbek national dishes, technologies for their preparation, spices and spices, rules of serving. Various dishes of Uzbek cuisine, sweets and drinks are presented to the attention of the guests, which have been highly appreciated due to their rich palette of taste sensations. The main treat of the event was the festive pilaf, which once again proved its status as the king of Uzbek cuisine.
