Classification of family guest houses: A seminar training for CBT representatives was held in Nukus

On December 14-15 this year, within the framework of the USAID "Future Growth Initiative" project "Development of Community-Based Tourism (CBT) in Uzbekistan by improving the professional competencies of rural residents" (Phase II) in Nukus (Republic of Karakalpakstan) a seminar training was held for CBT representatives.
A 2-day seminar - training "Classification of family guest houses - as an effective tool for attracting tourists" was organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTА) with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Republic of Karakalpakstan.

During the trainings, the participants covered the following topics:
- Classification in tourism. Classification of accommodation facilities. Goals and objectives of the classification of accommodation facilities;
- Classification of guest houses / family guest houses - an effective tool for attracting tourists and increasing competitiveness (marketing, business development);
- Development by APTA experts of a draft classifier for family guests in Uzbekistan;
- Approbation of the classifier option in family guest houses in Uzbekistan.
- Classification in tourism. Classification of accommodation facilities. Goals and objectives of the classification of accommodation facilities;
- Classification of guest houses / family guest houses - an effective tool for attracting tourists and increasing competitiveness (marketing, business development);
- Development by APTA experts of a draft classifier for family guests in Uzbekistan;
- Approbation of the classifier option in family guest houses in Uzbekistan.
And also the representatives of CBT were presented with a version of the classifier and the badge of rating stars.

As a result of the seminars trainings, the participants were awarded with certificates.
