Sustainable tourism: an introductory seminar was held for HCMI users and

On February 28 of the current year, the metropolitan hotel "City Palace" hosted the introductory seminar "Sustainable development of the tourism industry".

The seminar was organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) in the framework of the project "Model for Sustainable Tourism in Central Asia: Capacity Building, Awareness Raising, Technology Adoption" (project MOST) of the European Union "Switch Asia".

The seminar was attended by representatives of travel companies and hotels - users of HCMI and "smart"meters/sensors.

Recall that within the framework of the MOST project, users from Uzbekistan were implemented in the HCMI system, as well as installed 40 "smart" sensors/meters: Shelly 3em (professional three-phase electricity meter) and Shelly H&T (humidity and temperature sensor with Wi-Fi) in hotels and travel agencies.

As part of the seminar, the participants considered such topics as:
- the role and place in the sustainable development of management systems, including environmental management systems in world practice;
-Politics in the field of environmental certification in the tourist sector in Uzbekistan;
-Broils, duties and powers of the parties;
-Iso 14001 Environmental management systems;
-Initiatives for corporate-social responsibility (CSR);
-Initiative for measuring carbon in hotels (HCMI);
-evaluation of work efficiency;
- monitoring, measurement, analysis and assessment, etc.

According to the results of the seminar, a discussion of the topics considered.
