Negotiations were held between the air administrations of Uzbekistan and the UAE

In Dubai, negotiations were held between the air administrations of Uzbekistan and the UAE on the development of cooperation and mutual direct flights between the countries, Dunyo news agency reported with reference to the Ministry of Transport of the republic.

During the talks, the sides discussed issues of determining airlines for charter flights, the frequency of their implementation, the opening of new directions, as well as the use of the "open skies" regime introduced at the airports of Karshi, Termez, Nukus and Bukhara.

In order to develop direct flights between the cities of Uzbekistan and the UAE, the parties agreed to establish flights of Emirati airlines from Dubai to such cities of our republic as Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Karshi, Termez, Urgench and Nukus.

At the end of the negotiations, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand air traffic and signed a corresponding protocol.

Undoubtedly, the results of these negotiations will give impetus to the development of the Uzbek-Emirates trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties, as well as the development of cooperation in the fields of transport and tourism.
