Online meeting of experts: Promoting Sustainable Tourism
An online meeting was held on the issues of conducting training seminars for consultants of the sustainable tourism standards “Good Travel Seal” and “Travelife”.
On April 16 of this year, an online meeting was held within the framework of the project “Increasing sustainable tourism development through the introduction of certification, the use of digital tools and cross-border cooperation”, implemented with the support of the USAID Future Growth Initiative Project. This event was attended by specialists from the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) and invited experts from Europe - Anula Galevska and Anastasia Shkarupa.
During the meeting, issues of further cooperation were discussed, as well as organizational issues and the schedule of training seminars for consultants on sustainable tourism standards "Good Travel Seal" and "Travelife". By completing the course on sustainable tourism, consultants will gain not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical experience that will help them effectively advise representatives of the tourism industry and guide them towards sustainable development. It is worth noting that the "Good Travel Seal" and "Travelife" standards open up new horizons for the travel industry in the field of sustainability and certification.
