On September 16, 2020, the Singapore Institute for Management Development in Tashkent (SIRMT), together with the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held an international online festival "III Millennials' Tourism Festival 2020".

The festival was opened by the rector of SIRMT Dr. Zhasur Solikhov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Ulugbek Azamov, Head of the Pedagogical Sciences and Motivation Department of the Agency for Youth Affairs Sirojiddin Olimov, Director of the Association of Private Tourism Organizations Murad Nasirov and SIRMT partner, representative of Bangor University in the UK - Claire Doloriirt ...

Within the framework of the MICE festival, a round table was held on the tourism industry and fashion tourism, a presentation of the SIRMT faculty of creating and promoting a fashion product ”, a presentation of gastronomic tourism and a gala concert prepared by the festival participants.

In addition, in cooperation with the "Innovative Tourism and Education Center" SIRMT and the "School of Language and Communication", the winners of the annual "Tourism Video Contest" were announced and their videos were shown.

The forum was attended by representatives of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Association of Private Tourism Organizations, international experts from Great Britain, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, USA, Japan, South Korea and the CIS countries, representatives of the tourism sector Hilton Tashkent City, as well as leading national and international universities working in the field of education and tourism development and their students.

Also, the event was attended by representatives of foreign universities, such as Sochi State University (Russia), Selcuk University (Turkey), ADA University (Azerbaijan), Wakayama University (Japan), Wusong University (South Korea), Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank (Belarus), Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, Kyrgyz Academy of Tourism (Kyrgyzstan), Ablaikhon Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism (Kazakhstan), International Tourism University, Silk Road International Tourism Institute, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Urgench State University and Bukhara State University (Uzbekistan).

Despite the fact that the festival was held online, there were three more participants than every year.

The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to all the participants of the festival, and also wished them success in their future endeavors.
