USAID project staff and ATPA team discuss project implementation

On September 17, the staff of the USAID's Future Growth Initiative in Uzbekistan met with the team of the Association of private tourism agencies (APTA) and discussed the implementation of the project "Development of CBT tourism in Uzbekistan by improving professional competencies of rural residents".

“Next week, it is planned to train a group of trainers on topics of interest to owners of tourist communities in rural regions of Uzbekistan. According to the curriculum, two topics are identified for the training: marketing and financial management. In addition, issues such as the essence and importance of marketing for such communities, effective use of digital technologies, financial management and business planning will be considered, ”the representatives of the Association said at the meeting.
The meeting participants also got acquainted with the course of preparation of training materials, the selection of trainers and the program.
