Partners of the MOST Project visited the International University

On March 29 this year, in Samarkand, at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, a meeting was organized with representatives of partner organizations of the project “MOST - A model for sustainable tourism in Central Asia: Building Capacities, Creating Awareness, Introducing technology” (hereinafter referred to as the MOST Project).

The meeting was organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan as part of the MOST Project funded by the European Union under the Switch Asia Program.

It should be noted that the meeting was held as part of the events for the International Conference "Development of a sustainable tourism model - a way to increase tourism potential", which was held in Tashkent at the InterContinental Hotel on March 27 this year.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Association of Private Tourist Organizations of Uzbekistan Gulchekhra Israilova, the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of Greece Mr. Papagiannidis Dimitris, as well as representatives of organizations - partners of the MOST Project from Greece, Cyprus, Latvia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of a sustainable tourism model, the introduction of "green" technologies in the field of tourism.

Also, for representatives of organizations - partners of the MOST Project, an introductory tour of the university was organized, within which they were able to get acquainted with the activities of the higher educational institution, the educational building, etc.
