A series of webinars within the framework of the European Union project “MOST - A model for sustainable tourism in Central Asia: Building Capacities, Creating Awareness, Introducing technology” the aim of which is to increase the tourism potential of the countries of the Central Asian region, have been successfully completed in the capital.

Recall that these webinars were organized by the Association of private travel agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) within the framework of the initiative of the European Union "Switch Asia".

Online training took place from March 23 to March 26 this year at the International Hotel Tashkent.

A series of webinars for representatives of the tourism business from Tashkent and the Tashkent region (hotel business and tour operators) were conducted by the leading trainers of the European Union in the field of eco-certification.

At the end of the seminars, the participants were awarded certificates of completion of online training.

Participant certification training focuses on the following standards:

• ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System);

• HCMI (Hotel Carbon Measurement Initiative). It is a methodology and toolkit designed for the hospitality industry;

• CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
