On June 15, the newly appointed director of ACTED in Uzbekistan - D. Zakirova met with the Chairman of the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTА) - Gulchekhra Israilova.
Representatives of ACTED - I.Gulomjonov, N.Mirzayeva, D.Obidov and representatives of APTА also took part in the meeting, which took place in the APTА's office.
During the meeting, were discussed the issues of developing further cooperation, in particular, the further implementation of the project «Silk Road CBT Initiative: Connecting Central Asian Community-Based Tourism and European Markets» within the framework of the European Union program «Central Asia Invest» and the project «Promoting Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy production in the Community-Based Tourism Sector in Central Asia» under the EU program «Switch Asia».
